Certificate of conformity to technical regulation requirements Euro – 4.
Certificate of conformity Euro-4 - is a document confirming compliance of an automotive vehicle to emission classes according to standards of hazardous substances emission into the atmosphere.
According to the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation dated October 12, 2005, ¹ 609 «On Approval of Technical Regulations “On Requirements to emission of hazardous substances (pollutants) by automotive vehicles produced on the territory of the Russian Federation” since the 1st of January 2010 all automotive vehicles must correspond to ecological class Euro-4.
On the basis of a certificate of conformity Euro-4 a respective mark is indicated at the Vehicle Certificate of Title in the line “Ecological class” or “Special notes” (if there is no a separate line “Ecological class” at the Vehicle Certificate of Title).
Documents needed to obtain a certificate of conformity Euro-4:
- Application of vehicle owner (individual or legal entity);
- Vehicle Certificate of Title;
- Certificate of harmful substances content in emissions (CO and CH);
- Copy of passport (for individuals);
- Copy of Primary State Registration Number (OGRN), contract, invoice (for legal entities) authenticated by the applicant’s stamp.
