Test plans are developed on the basis of Technical specification requirements, design documentation with engagement of standard plans, typical (standardized) test procedures and other normative documents for arrangement and carrying out of the tests if required.
Test program includes:
- test item,
- test purpose,
- scope of testing,
- conditions and procedure of tests,
- financial and logistical support of tests,
- metrological assurance of tests,
- tests reports.
Test plan encloses lists of specific checks (current tasks, evaluations) to be performed during tests in order to confirm compliance with technical specification requirements with reference to the corresponding test procedures. Besides, program and procedure of product samples acceptance tests should include inspection of engineering documentation and operational documentation quality (including technical conditions draft for industrial manufacturing of a product). It is the way to take a decision whether this documentation is appropriate for commercial production.
Test procedure includes the following items:
- evaluated product features (properties, values);
- conditions and procedure of tests performance;
- methods of processing, analyzing and evaluation of test results;
- means of tests, control and measurement;
- data reporting.
In case test procedures used for identification of the product conformity to obligatory requirements are not usual standardized procedures, they should be attested in the prescribed manner and approved by corresponding state supervision bodies.
