As a rule, if preparation for installation, installation, start-up, adjustment and running test are performed on the site by personnel who will operate the equipment further on all necessary information is included into Operation manual.

Engineering equipment installation/removal manual contains the following sections preceded by introduction without title:

- general instructions;
- safety precautions;
- preparation of equipment for installation and connection;
- installation and removal;
- setting, connection and test performance;
- startup (try-out);
- adjustment;
- integral inspection;
- running test;
- handing-over installed and connected equipment.
