ISO/IEC standard relates to text processing documents, presentations and electronic tables. It’s meant for applications operating on different platforms. One of the aims of the standard is long-time storage of documents, created for the past 20 years by means of outdated or incompatible programs.
The standard consists of 4 parts:

Publication of new edition of ISO standard 11612:2008 "Protective clothing-Clothing to protect against heat and flame. Test methods and requirements to operating characteristics of clothes for heat protection.”
The standard includes requirements to protective clothes for people working in high temperature conditions. It determines three levels of protection with a glance to potential risks and also an additional level for extreme conditions. The standard has been edited after consideration of changed technological level and statistics on efficiency of protective measures for the past period.
Recently two more standards related to this subject have been updated. They are:
ISO 11611:2007 «Protective clothing for use in welding and similar processes” and ISO 14116:2008 “Protective clothing – Protection against heat radiation and flame – Materials limiting heat radiation, combination of materials and clothing”.
