Reply: Bed-clothes is subject to Obligatory certification in GOST-R system in accordance with Committee of the Russian Federation for Standardization, Metrology and Certification Enactment no. 64 of 30 July, 2002.

I obtained Conformity certificate according to scheme 3 for the manufacturer (Germany), I’d like to know whether I’m competent, as the manufacturer’s representative in Russia, to attest the copies of the Certificate with my blue stamp, so that the product could be sold in Russia?
Reply: If Russian representative office is not mentioned in the Certificate itself, only German manufacturer has the right to attest the copies of Conformity certificate. Also there are some other alternatives, in particular to attest the copies at notary officer or at the body issued this certificate.

If the necessity of product marking with the mark of conformity (RST) is not indicated in section «additional information», is it required to identify the products with this mark?
Reply: Products should be identified with RST mark.

Is it possible to prolong duration of Conformity certificate with the same number?
Reply: Certificate is valid only during its term. That’s why in order to prolong duration of Conformity certificate it’s necessary to issue a new one, so the number will be changed.

Good afternoon. I’m going to import clothes for children from Italy to Russia. I have got the certificate from the manufacturer. Do I need Russian certificate and any other documents?
Reply: Yes, you have to obtain Conformity certificates in system GOST-R and Hygienic Certificates (Sanitary-Hygienic Certificates).

Reply: Voluntary certificate is obtained ONLY at customer’s will.

Trade inspection demanded an additional certificate for built in video player battery. At the same time there is a Conformity certificate for the whole device (it needs either 220 V power source or built in battery. Is it lawful?
Reply: If the battery is not sold separately the demand is not lawful. If there’s a Conformity certificate for the whole device and the manual says that battery is supplied in one set with the player, additional certification of the battery is not required.
