Hello! We would like to import the fried packed up sunflower seeds from Ukraine and to sell them in
Russia. What documents are necessary for this?
Reply: One of the necessary conditions is the presence of a conformity sign on the packing of the foodstuff.
It is regulated by the Governmental Law of the Russian Federation ¹ 55 from 19.01.1998 "About the statement of
sale rules for separate kinds of goods and for the list of durable goods on which the requirement of the buyer for
gratuitous granting for its repair or replacement by the similar goods is not applied to, and the list of nonfoods of the appropriate quality, not subjected to a return or to an exchange for the similar goods of other size, form,
style, coloring or complete set" point 15; Gosstandart Regulations of the Russian Federation ¹ 21 from
28.04.1999« About rules of carrying out of the foodstuff certification and food inputs »point 4.8, and also GOSTR

We are going to certificate the foodstuff production for Russia. Our buyer in Moscow asserts that we are
obliged to put a Rostest sign on our production. Is it necessary to do it? Whether the absence of this sign on a

Is it possible that a foreign company (not a russian one) obtains a GOST R certification for its wine production, where its name is indicated both as producer and receiver of the certificate (èçãîòîâèòåëü è çàÿâèòåëü)?

Would you please tell me whether it is necessary to change Conformity certificate for mayonnaise, issued in accordance with GOST for a period from January 2008 till January 2010 in connection with Technical regulation?

Conformity certificate and declaration of compliance for fat-and-oil products manufactured before the present Federal regulation came into effect and issued before the present Federal regulation came into effect are considered to be valid till the expiry date of Conformity certificate and declaration of compliance. 2. Fat-and-oil products manufactured before the present Federal regulation came into effect are covered by the requirements valid till this new Federal regulation came into effect."

Conformity certificate for supplied products, in connection with new Technical regulation came into effect for milk products, and if Quality Certificate is not obligatory for provision what should be indicated on the packing and labels?

Reply: If these aromatic oils are not cosmetic products you should obtain Sanitary-hygienic certificate. If it is cosmetics, Conformity certificate is also required.
