A permission or decision is an official document with the results of product, equipment and other tests, allowing operation and use of specific equipment or certifying a possibility of a specific form of activity.
The Russian Federation legislation provides for issue of various registration permissions and decisions, in particular:
- A permit for hazardous waste import/export (a document establishing the possibility of import/export of hazardous waste on the territory of the Russian Federation, and transit of waste through its territory);
- A permit to use from the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Supervision (a document allowing running of specific technological tools or certain types of equipment on hazardous industrial facilities);
- Permits for import/export of ozone-destroying substances (a document allowing a possibility of import/export of products containing ozone-destroying substances on the territory of the Russian Federation)
- And others.
Governmental authorities responsible for issuing of any given registration permissions and decisions are defined by the Russian Federation legislation. Rules and terms of issue of registration decisions and permissions are subject to special regulations and standards.
