Ecological certification.
Ecological standardization is actively being developed in the Russian Federation as a direction of normative-legal regulation of environmental protection and natural resources management which is reflected as a series of corresponding standards. Ecological standardization is a necessary measure for setting standards in the sphere of environmental security and rational use of natural resources.
Ecological certificate is a document proving ecological safety of products, manufacture, real estate items for consumers and environment, and the procedure itself is called ecological certification.
Obtaining an ecological certificate is voluntary, however an ecological certificate is one of the important factors that have a positive impact on competitive strength of goods.
Implementation of international systems of Environmental Management in Russia in accordance with standards ISO series 14000 and ISO series 9000 allow construction organizations develop their own programs of implementation and realization of environmental policies.
Ecological certification solves several tasks:
- Ecological certificate is one more proof of quality of product under the conditions of unrestricted competition;
- Openness of information concerning ecological cleanness of products;
- Observance of consumer rights for life and health friendly products;
- Additional advantages for introduction of products into international market. (In case of work with foreign companies and export of products abroad a certificate of quality management system on the basis of International Standards ISO 9000 is required).
Ecological certificate can be issued:
- For products
- For manufacture
- For real estate items
Only accredited organizations («ECOCERT» company among them) can carry out certification and issue an ecological certificate.

- Application in free format
- Technical Specifications
- Technical Documentation
- Certificate of compliance GOST Ð
- State Registration Certificate
On the basis of tests carried out, an accredited authority issues a test protocol and then executes, registers and issues an ecological certificate.
During the validity period of ecological certificate, technical inspections may be carried out concerning compliance of the actual data with the norms established.
Ecological certificate may be withdrawn in case of nonfulfillment of improvement notices or manufacture technology changes for the worse.
